You are hereby invited to attend the 6th European
Stainless Steel Conference, devoted to the scientific aspects of
stainless steels and to market issues. It will be a meeting place
for those involved in new and growing applications and in research
and development. Meetings between these groups have proved a seed
for the fruitful and successful development of processes, new
steel grades and new applications for stainless steels.
The conference is the latest in a successful series of international
conferences started in Florence in 1993 and followed by Düsseldorf
in 1996, Sardinia in 1999, Paris in 2002 and Seville in 2005.The
conference is organized by Jernkontoret and sponsored by the
European Commission RFCS, Outokumpu, Sandvik Materials Technology,
ESAB, ThyssenKrupp Nirosta, ThyssenKrupp Acciai Speciali Terni,
ArcelorMittal, Nickel Institute, IMOA, International Chromium
